Welcome to Arty Pants an after school and half term art club. I currently teach at Sutton Veny, Wylye Valley and Horningsham Primary Schools and hope to expand. I also run art clubs at half term usually at Sutton Veny village hall and these are open to ALL children and are always a lot of fun.
During the After School Club we cover a different subject every session. The children will learn art skills, art history and exploring their own creative freedom without restrictions. I encourage the children not to ask if they're allowed to do something but to just do it and see what happens. Unfortunately a common theme I have noticed within the educational environment is that art class can be very rigid but is also slowly becoming obsolete within the learning environment and taking away the opportunity for children to have creative freedom. I hope to be able to provide an outlet for children to be unapologetically creatively free to put their own mark on their work.
Each child receives their very own free sketch book that we use for club and then they take it home at the end of term where you'll get to see all their hard work and is theirs to do as they wish with.
During half term clubs we have accomplished some memorable milestones and created some outstanding work, including a mural you can find at Sutton Venys playing fields. We have had exhibitions in the foyer at the Athenaeum and Warminster library as well as auctioning the children's work to raise money for a local animal sanctuary. I do my best to get the childrens work noticed and/or put somewhere for people to see. The children are always very excited to hear what will be going on with their work.

After School club 3pm-4pm or 3.15pm-4.15pm £5 per week for the term eg. 6 week term £30. Max: 16/18 spaces
Half term Clubs always run across two days @ £56 per child (discount available for siblings), 10am-2pm @ Sutton Veny village Hall unless advertised differently.
